MA DOR Extends Individual Tax Return Deadline to May 17

by | Mar 22, 2021 | Bulletins

Happy Spring!

As a follow-up to the IRS announcement about the tax deadline being extended, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue has issued the same change. For Massachusetts taxpayers, returns and payments will be due May 17, 2021.

Please be aware that this postponement only applies to individual income tax deadlines.

So far there is no notice regarding estimated tax payments. Be prepared to pay those on April 15, 2021.

For taxpayers of other states, we will look at your situation separately.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Rich
