We are witnessing very volatile times and with the market rallying about 17% (on the DOW) after dropping about 10,000 points in less than 20 days, many people want to jump back in. We saw a similar situation in 2009 when the market dropped.
The path from here will be volatile and jumping in today or several months from now will be rewarding. Currently, it is still unclear how long the Coronavirus shutdown will continue and what the true economic damage will be from the virus. Until that is fully understood the direction of the equity markets will remain uncertain and following your current investment strategy will serve you best. That does not mean that investing some funds now in the equity markets is a bad idea, however it does mean that there is still considerable risk in doing so.
