Aging Perspective

Articles

September 16th was Respect for the Aged Day in Japan.  An article I recently read highlighted the importance of physical activity and aging, while featuring a 102 year old senior competing in a track race!  We need to think about aging differently so we do not allow stereotypes to prematurely age us.  This man was very sedentary until at the age of 92 he saw some woman who was his age competing in shot put.  Now at the age of 102 he holds the world’s record for someone over the age of 100 running the 100 meter dash!

How are you allowing stereotypes and habits to restrain you from realizing your dreams?
