No inflation, really?

by | Dec 19, 2013 | Articles

This past week, I was fortunate enough to celebrate Gayle’s birthday with her in New York City (The City).  The City is wonderful this time of year and we were fortunate enough to enjoy several memorable meals, attend a Broadway show, the Opera, David Letterman and the Metropolitan Museum.  The amount of ready cash I went through was more than I anticipated, so I had to go to an ATM machine and retrieve some cash.  Much to my surprise that machine dispensed $50 bills where the ones I am used to dispensed $20s.  Did I just witness the future?  Is $50 the next $20?  It certainly appears so in the City!  What are your thoughts?
