Sometimes Behind the Headlines the Full View is Revealed!

Articles

Every day 10,000 Americans turn 55; it is also interesting that the same number of Americans turn 65 each day.  So, on an annual basis we have 3 million Americans turning 55 (eligible for Senior citizen discounts etc.) and another 3 million eligible for Medicare.  It would seem that America is turning grayer by the minute.  But what came to mind is that we have a huge number of younger Americans (echo boomers or Millennials) and I was curious how often they turn 21.  So we went to Google and found: “Approximately 10,000 Millennials turn 21 every day in America, and by the year 2025, three out of every four workers globally will be Gen Y.”  Although we have more elderly than ever, there are also more young people than ever before, so maybe things are not so bad!
