About Marc Berman

Marc, a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, joined Colman Knight in 1999. He specializes in Financial Planning Analysis and Investment Management. Marc enjoys analyzing complex situations and developing thoughtful solutions to resolve challenges and create new opportunities for clients. Marc serves clients with impeccable honesty, dry wit, and an eye toward personal growth and practical results.
Marc has worked with clients in eclectic industries: from corporate finance to the arts, from biotechnology to management consulting. His own diverse work experience grants him unique insight into a variety of circumstances. Before joining Colman Knight, Marc practiced as a Financial Advisor at MassMutual Life Insurance Company. He also served as a Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Manager for Agilent Technologies, Hewlett Packard and Apollo Computer for 15 years. Marc began his professional career as an industrial engineer and engineering manager supporting high tech manufacturing at Raytheon, Polaroid and Wang Laboratories.
Marc earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, and his Diploma in Financial Planning from Boston University. He continues his studies and professional development regularly as a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Marc and his wife, Harriet, live in Norton, Massachusetts. They enjoy walking, cross-country skiing, vacationing and spending time with their two granddaughters. Marc’s approach to financial planning and life is driven by balance, understanding, and a commitment to freedom of choice.
